Hunter’s Prep
September 8 & 9, 2025
PHOBOS’ Long Range Hunting Courses are designed specifically accommodate every shooter from beginner to those who have been hunters and shooters their entire lives. The Instruction in the 2-day class is designed to build on each training session. This is not a repackaged precision rifle course.
This course is specifically designed with the hunter in mind. There is some material that is common to both courses, but this course is for those people who are looking to improve their hinting success and their ability to ethically harvest game animals.
Often an individual’s hunting rifle/scope combination, caliber, and bullet selection may regulate the practical distance possible. Based on your goals and equipment our instructors will tailor their instruction to improve your shooting and/or hunting skills in realistic situations from 100 to 800 yards (200-600 is most common). Throughout your course, our staff will coach, teach, and mentor you, culminating your training with simulations of the pressures and environments you may encounter on a variety of hunts
throughout the world.
We conduct fast-paced courses (8+ hour days) that are designed for novice and seasoned shooters alike. Based on your needs and goals, we can provide a variety of services during the course including options such as full equipment purchase or proper equipment setup. Your course will be customized, beginning with safety and rapidly transitioning into equipment comprehension, fundamentals of advanced marksmanship, ballistics, wind reading, range estimation, alternate positions, and target engagements from 100 -800 yards.
